Why rent a bicycle?Renting a good used bike and returning it is an ecologically sustainable answer to the many bicycle issues at Burning Man. We at Burning Bikes practice "Leave no trace" as much as we can in relation to what we do.

Do you sell bikes?Yes we do!!! We are a rental agency primarily. However if someone really likes the bike they rented, we can work something out.

Do you ship bikes?No, pick up in Gerlach only.

Do you deliver bikes to BRC camps?No, all rentals must be picked up in Gerlach by the renter or authorized person.

I cannot make it out this year for some reason and rented a bike, can I get my $$$ back?Well, uh... No. We know life happens and sudden changes occur that we cannot control. Even with that said, all rentals/sales are final.

Do you take bicycle drop-offs after the event?Yes we do!!! To participate in "Leave no trace" in relation to us we take as many bicycles and bicycle related items as we can from participants after Burning Man that did not rent from us, as long as they are fully intact and in reasonably fixable shape. If your camp has somehow ended up with more bikes and bicycle accessories than you rented, you may drop them off with us. Drop off address is same as pick up address. Do you sell accessories on site?Yes we have a limited supply of : Baskets. Racks. Locks. Head/Tail Lights. Rope lights/LED wire. Tennis balls for the kickstand. First come first serve on accessories. The "Fully loaded" line of bikes has these items included

How do I get my deposit back?Just bring back the bicycle(s) you rented fully intact and in reasonably fixable shape.

What if I do not return my bike?Things happen out there. We will just keep the deposit. All will be good and hope to see you next year.
